Our baked goods

Years ago, in a New York City apartment, we set out to bake the healthiest and tastiest grain-free baked goods imaginable. Batch after batch, we never settled for anything but the best ingredients and flavors. Today, we continue to be unapologetic in our pursuit of delicious, nutrient-rich perfection. Soozy’s is inspired by those who share the same spirit of championing a better way, seeking foods with the best ingredients and taste. Our baked goods are _made without_: grains, gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, gums, sugar alcohols, preservatives and fillers, and are Certified Gluten-Free, Certified Kosher OU, Certified Glyphosate-Free, and Non-GMO Project Verified.

We created our products with a very clear objective: To make the healthiest and best-tasting grain-free baked goods on the planet, that also happen to be gluten-free. In addition to being certified gluten-free, our baked goods are also grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and do not contain any stabilizers, fillers, or artificial ingredients. We don’t use any highly refined flours, starches, gums, or sugar alcohols, that can be found in other gluten-free baked goods.

Our baked goods check all of the boxes: incredible taste, fluffy and moist texture, and nutrient-dense ingredients! It’s hard to find a baked good that is just as tasty as it is, nutrient-rich. We can’t wait for you to try our products!

Yes! Our baked goods have been certified by the Non-GMO Project. We are very aware of the negative impact GMO’s can have on our health, which is why we have worked very hard to meet this high standard.

Yes! Our baked goods are made without grains, gluten, dairy, soy and legumes, so they are considered paleo compliant.

Yes! Our baked goods are Certified Gluten-Free.

Yes! We are proud to be Certified Glyphosate-Free. This means that our ingredients are sourced from farms that do not use glyphosate in the growing / harvesting process. We hold our products to a very high standard, and thoroughly believe that food is fuel. We always strive to be as transparent as possible with our community, as it relates to our ingredients, with our certifications and with our production practices. For more information, we encourage our community to do their own research on glyphosate.

No. Our baked goods DO contain tree nuts (Almonds, Coconuts). If you have a tree nut allergy, you should avoid our products. However, our products are made without peanut-containing ingredients.     1. Because our baked goods don’t contain any funky preservatives or stabilizers, our baked goods are sold frozen. As a result, it’s best to store our baked goods in the freezer, until you are ready to enjoy.
      1. MUFFINS:
        1. From Frozen: Remove the outer plastic wrapper, and place the muffin in the microwave for 15-20 internals, until heated through, but not overheated. Heating time will vary depending on the power of your appliance.
        2. Thawed: Remove the outer plastic wrapper, and place the muffin in the microwave for 10 second intervals, until slightly warm to touch, but not overheated. Heating time will vary depending on the power of your appliance.
      2. DONUTS:
        1. From Frozen: Remove the outer plastic wrapper, and place the donut in the microwave for 10 second internals, until slightly warmed, but not overheated. Heating time will vary depending on the power of your appliance.
        2. Thawed: Remove the outer plastic wrapper, and place the donut in the microwave for 10 seconds (total), until slightly warmed, but not overheated. If needed, you can warm for additional 10-second intervals. Heating time will vary depending on the power of your appliance.
    2. You can also use a conventional oven or toaster oven (on low). If you have a toaster oven, we recommend removing the out plastic wrapper, and placing the baked good on low until heated through. Do not overheat, as this will compromise the texture of the baked good.

We created our muffins with a very clear objective: To make the healthiest and best-tasting muffins on the planet, that also happen to be gluten-free. In addition to being certified gluten-free, our muffins are also grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, peanut-free and do not contain any stabilizers, fillers, or artificial ingredients. We don’t use any highly refined flours, starches, or processed ingredients, typically found in gluten-free baked goods.

1. Muffins: You can store our muffins at room temperature for up to 48 hours.    

2. Donuts: You can store our donuts at room temperature for up to 72 hours.    

3. For optimal freshness, we recommend storing our baked goods in the freezer. Because our products are made from real, wholesome ingredients and don’t contain any stabilizers or preservatives, we recommend keeping them frozen, until you are ready to enjoy.

1. Muffins: You can store our muffins in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.        

2. Donuts: You can store our donuts in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

3. For optimal freshness, we recommend storing our baked goods in the freezer. Because our products are made from real, wholesome ingredients and don’t contain any stabilizers or preservatives, we recommend keeping them frozen, until you are ready to enjoy.

SHIPPING AND STORES

Frozen shipping is expensive, especially because we are mindful of our environmental impact. Because of this, you won’t receive a Soozy’s delivery with styrofoam or non-recyclable gel packs. We use recyclable, and compostable packing materials, such as dry ice, and eco-friendly, biodegradable insulation. As a result, we offer flat rate shipping of $14.99 for all orders under 4 boxes. For orders of 4+ boxes, we offer free shipping.

Please note: We subsidize most of the shipping costs for our customers! We want our baked goods to be as accessible as possible, and do our best to keep them affordable. As we continue to grow, we anticipate our costs to come down over time. When they do, we will gladly pass the savings onto you. In the meantime, we hope you feel as good as we do about protecting our environment while enjoying our products, all at the same time!

We ship all packages via FedEx ground. To ensure our baked good get to you in the freshest state possible, we carefully measure and package all orders with dry ice. Most orders should arrive within 3-4 days of leaving our fulfillment center. Once the shipment arrives, we ask that you place our baked goods back not the freezer, to maximize shelf-life.

Please Note: Your baked goods will thaw in transit, as the dry ice sublimates. This is normal, and expected. Please place your baked goods promptly back into the freezer, upon receipt.

Help us, help you! Simply, print off and complete the Soozy’s Grain-Free Product Request Form, and bring it into your local grocer, natural foods store or supermarket.
