Though we hail from different backgrounds and disciplines, we all share a common goal: to show the world that healthy, nutritious foods can be delicious and available to everyone.

I've been baking sweet treats for my loved ones from the moment I was tall enough to peer over the kitchen countertop! While I've always been a healthy baker, I turned my attention to gluten-free and grain-free baking after meeting Mason. Through this process of learning and mastery, I began noticing that the majority of gluten-free muffins and breads were actually junk food masquerading as health food! Just because a product is gluten-free doesn't mean it's good for you, and consumers deserve great tasting, healthy options. I'm also a meditation teacher and believe that the cycle of optimal health and bliss starts with a happy tummy. We are truly what we eat; if we are to have a balanced life of happiness and bliss, we must first create this balance in our diet.
Ever since learning I was gluten intolerant 7 years ago, I've been focused on living a healthier lifestyle. For me this meant sticking to mostly unprocessed foods that were made with nutrient dense ingredients. Although I was always looking for healthier alternatives that fit with this new philosophy of “clean” eating, I became frustrated with the lack options that were available to me, especially in the baked goods department. It was this frustration that made me determined to find a way to create a baked goods product that tasted better than anything else I had eaten but that was also the “cleanest” in the store from an ingredient standpoint. That's how we came up with Soozy's: a muffin for people who love food but who don't want to compromise on their health. We've been working on this recipe for years and are excited for you to try what we've come up with!
